What you can do with Fundin and Claude

See what is possible when using Fundin & Claude

Once you have connected Fundin to Claude using MCP, Claude can access your live Fundin data and help you do things that would normally take you much longer on your own.

You do not need any technical knowledge to use this. If you can send a message, you can use it.

Finding grants by talking

Instead of searching the grant database yourself, you can just ask Claude.

Try asking things like:

  • "Find me grants for a youth project in Leeds under Ā£10,000"

  • "Are there any grants open right now for mental health charities?"

  • "Which of my matched grants close in the next 30 days?"

  • "Find me grants we have not applied to yet"

Claude pulls live data from your Fundin account, so the results are based on your actual campaigns, location and project type, not a generic search.

Understanding your funding position

Claude can look at your Fundin account and give you a plain-English summary of where things stand.

Try asking:

  • "What is my readiness score and what is holding it back?"

  • "Which grants am I matched to that we have not started an application for?"

  • "How many applications do we have in progress right now?"

  • "Give me a summary of what is due in the next two weeks"

This is useful at the start of the week when you want a quick picture of where things are without logging in and clicking around.

Tracking reporting

If you have active grants with reporting records set up in Fundin, Claude can help you stay on top of them.

Try asking:

  • "Which of my reporting records have upcoming deadlines?"

  • "Remind me what outcomes I committed to for the [grant name] grant"

  • "What sections of my reporting are still empty?"

This works best when your reporting records are kept up to date in Fundin.

Checking for new grants regularly

You can ask Claude to check for new grants on a schedule and let you know when something worth looking at comes in.

For example, you could set up a routine where every Monday morning Claude:

  1. Checks Fundin for newly matched grants added in the last seven days

  2. Summarises any that look relevant

  3. Sends you an email or a Slack message with what it found

This means you are not logging in manually to check for updates. New opportunities come to you.
