Supporting documents

Why we ask you to upload supporting documents

Updated over 2 months ago

Many funders require supporting documents as part of the application process. Uploading these to your Library upfront helps us submit applications faster and avoid last-minute delays.

All documents should be uploaded in Library → Documents. Support article here.

1. Funders often require the same documents

Most grant applications ask for:

  • Governing documents

  • Safeguarding policy

  • Other compliance policies (e.g. equality, health & safety)

  • Latest annual accounts

By uploading these once to your Library, we can reuse them across multiple applications - saving time and reducing admin for everyone.

2. Faster submissions and fewer delays

When documents aren’t available, applications can be delayed or missed entirely.

Having everything stored in the library allows us to:

  • Attach required documents immediately

  • Respond quickly to funder follow-up requests

  • Keep submissions moving without chasing paperwork

This is especially important for tight deadlines.

3. Upload additional supporting materials

In addition to required documents, it’s good practice to upload:

  • Impact data and reports

  • Past funding applications (successful or unsuccessful)

  • Project plans, budgets, and delivery timelines

  • Evaluation reports or outcomes summaries

These help us:

  • Reuse strong language and evidence

  • Demonstrate impact more clearly to funders

  • Build stronger, more consistent applications over time

What you need to upload

Please upload all relevant documents to your library including:

  • Governing documents

  • Safeguarding policy

  • Any other required compliance policies

  • A copy of your latest annual accounts

  • Any documents that help us understand your organisation.

If a document isn’t ready yet, upload it as soon as it’s available.
