How to find grants in our database

Quickly find the right funding opportunities for your projects.

The Grant Database is home to hundreds of active grant opportunities, updated daily.

But the real power lies in the filters, designed to help you quickly find what’s most relevant to your organisation and project needs.

Search and Sort

At the top of the page, you’ll find:

  • Search Bar: Type in keywords related to your project (e.g., “mental health”, “youth”, “London”)

  • Sort Options: Use this dropdown to reorder results by:

    • Published date

    • Closing date Recommended for You

Filters Panel: Narrow Down with Precision

Use the left-hand Filters panel to fine-tune your search:

Location

Select your project’s delivery area.

  • Choose a specific location to filter for local and regional funders.

  • Tick “Exclude national grants” if you only want funders that specifically support your local area.

Category

Choose the topic area(s) your project focuses on, such as:

  • Mental health

  • Arts & culture

  • Youth

  • Homelessness

Open to

Filter grants based on who they are available to:

  • Charities

  • CICs

  • Community groups

  • Schools

  • Sport Clubs

  • Private businesses

  • Local Authority

  • Company limited by gauruntee

  • Individuals

Funding Type

Choose from types such as:

  • Project

  • Capital funding

  • Core costs

Combine Filters for Smarter Results

Filters are stackable, meaning you can combine multiple options (e.g., “London” + “Mental Health” + “CIC”) to create a highly targeted shortlist.
