Fundin has four plans. Most of what this help centre describes — a dedicated bid writer, an onboarding call, and ongoing monthly support — is the Managed experience, since that's how most Fundin customers work with us day to day. The difference between plans is how much of that support you get, whether that support is a dedicated bid writer or Starter's self-serve model, and how many applications get a human review each month.

Free gives you access to Fundin's grant database, so you can search and browse funding opportunities. It doesn't include campaigns, AI-drafted applications, or a bid writing expert — for those, you'll need to move to Starter or Managed.

Starter is for organisations who want to draft and submit grant applications themselves, with Fundin's AI doing the heavy lifting. It includes campaigns, AI matching and eligibility checking, reporting and monitoring tools, and 10 AI bid writer credits a month to draft applications — plus the ability to connect Fundin to your existing AI tools.

There's no dedicated bid writing expert or human-reviewed applications on Starter. Instead, we run a weekly group call open to all Starter customers, covering onboarding questions and general support. See Getting started on Starter.

Managed is how most Fundin customers work with us, and it's the plan the rest of this help centre describes by default. It includes everything in Starter, plus a dedicated bid writing expert — introduced during onboarding, and unlimited AI bid writer credits rather than Starter's 10 a month.

Every Managed customer gets a dedicated bid writing expert from the start — you're introduced to them during onboarding, and they run your monthly strategy call to help build and refine your funding strategy. Day to day, you select which matched grants to pursue and draft applications yourself using the AI bid writer, with unlimited self-serve credits. On top of that, your bid writing expert reviews up to 3 applications a month before you submit, plus ongoing ad hoc support by email or WhatsApp. See What your bid writer does.
