Starter and Growth are Fundin's self-serve plans — there's no dedicated bid writing expert, and you handle campaigns, drafting, and submitting entirely yourself. The only difference between them is how many applications you can draft a month: 5 on Starter, unlimited on Growth. This article walks through what to expect on either.

After you start your trial, you set up your organisation profile yourself — see Setting up your Bid Library — and add your first campaign, see Creating a Campaign. There's no 1:1 onboarding call on Starter or Growth — everything you need is in this help centre, and our weekly group call is there if you get stuck.

Every week, we run a group call open to all Starter and Growth customers. It covers onboarding questions for anyone just getting started, plus general support for anything you're working through — there's no need to book a slot, just join. It's the main way to get help beyond the help centre, since these plans don't include a named point of contact by email or WhatsApp.

Once you're matched to a grant, you draft your application yourself using the AI — either from inside Fundin or with your Fundraising Agent — see Drafting bids. Starter includes 5 AI-drafted applications a month; Growth is unlimited.

There's no human review included on Starter or Growth, so you review your own draft before submitting — see Reviewing and submitting bids for what to check. You then submit it yourself directly to the funder, the same as on any Fundin plan.

Reporting and monitoring tools are included on Starter and Growth, so you can track your pipeline and report on outcomes the same way as any other Fundin customer — see Understanding your pipeline and Post award management.
