This is included on Managed and Enterprise. On Starter, applications are self-serve with no human review — see Getting started on Starter.
You draft your applications yourself using the AI bid writer, then send a draft to your dedicated bid writing expert for review before you submit it. Up to 3 reviews a month are included, with a custom quote available if you need more.
Requesting a review
Once your AI draft is ready in your pipeline's To Review column, open it and click Send to bid writer. This sends the full draft to your bid writing expert and moves it into a Sent for review status, so you can see at a glance which applications are waiting on feedback.
There's no separate form to fill in — if there's something in particular you'd like them to focus on, add a note when you send it, or follow up directly by email or WhatsApp.
What they check
Your bid writing expert reads through the application and considers:
Does it accurately represent your organisation and what you deliver?
Does it reflect the funder's priorities? Whether the application speaks directly to what this funder is looking for.
Are the figures correct? Budget figures, beneficiary numbers, or statistics.
Does it read naturally? Strengthening language and tightening the case for funding where needed.
Reading their feedback
Your bid writing expert leaves comments directly on the application, question by question — open any question and look below the answer for the Comments section to see what they've said. Each question has its own comment thread, so feedback stays organised against the relevant answer. You can reply in the same thread if you want to check something before making the change.
For anything broader — overall tone or structure rather than a specific question — they'll get in touch directly instead of leaving it as a comment.
Once they're done, the application moves back to your To Review column with their comments attached. You review the comments, make the changes yourself, and the application stays in your pipeline throughout.
💡 Tip: Turnaround depends on your bid writing expert's availability — if you're working to a tight deadline, mention it when you send the application over, or flag it by WhatsApp.
Submitting
Once you're happy with the application — with or without a review — you submit it yourself directly to the funder. See Reviewing and submitting bids for what to check before you do.
